Tuesday here again and already half way through February!
The weather today is not good it is that horrible drizzle rain, which is a shame as Alfie's class along with year 2 and 5 are going on an enviroment walk to Kingston Blount this morning. They are going to be a little cold and wet on there return at lunch, its a good job that Alfie is having lunch today i think that he will need it!
What joy a blood test today. Then ironing and i have my Avon to sort out, thats my day gone.
All done only a few Avon deliveries left will have to do them tomorrow evening.
The weather has been horrible today and i am so cold, its 9.30 and i am in my pj's already, dressing gown and slippers, what an old fart i am!
Just gone to empty the washing machine and the handle is broken, oh hell the door will not open. Lets just hope we are still covered, but my washing will have to sit there until it's fixed, will have to get the paperwork out and give them a ring first thing in the morning. Just what i need!
Bloody hell Phil you just made me jump, he jumped up shouting as Spurs have just scored against Milan in the Champions League only 10 minutes left can they hang on? Well Done Lennon and Crouch! Phil is now on the edge of his seat. Milan have scored with seconds to go but there was some pushing in the box so the goal was not given! Tottenham have won glad that is over until they meet again at White Hart Lane.
Off to bed sweet dreams, dont let the bed bugs bit.x

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY EVERYBODY
Saint Valentine's Day, commonly shortened to Valentine's Day, is an annual commemoration held on February 14 celebrating love and affection between intimate companions. It is traditionally a day on which lovers express their love for each other by presenting flowers, offering confectionery, and sending greeting cards (known as "valentines"). The day first became associated with romantic love in the circle of Geoffrey Chaucer in the High Middle Ages, when the tradition of courtly love flourished.
!
Today is a very bright and sunny morning for Valentines Day 2011, a little cold only 3 degress in the car on my way to work. But it is so nice and starts the day of well with a bit of vibrant sunshine!
Got to work and was given a kiss and wished a Happy Valentines Day, thanks Paul Griffiths from the factory it made me smile!
Shoes for today are very fit for Valentines Day, they are Red satin platform stilettos with dainty ankle straps, Giuseppe Zanotti Design, 2009 from the Workman Publishing, New York. Very nice i like these ones!
Had an email from lovefood.com with an article on The Five Most Seductive Foods.
If you're out to seduce someone this Valentines Day, maybe you've got plans to cook a sensual meal in flickering candlelight, or perhaps wine and dine them in an intimate restaurant. But can food really have an aphrodisiac effect on us? Yes give the love of your life: 1) Seafood 2) Spices 3) Red Meat 4) Chocolate and 5) Fruit read the following link to find out more.

Instead of sending the traditional chocolates how about sending dairy products shaped in hearts. It’s not a new concept, this method of moulding cheese into romantic forms, in fact the first recorded heart-shaped cheese can be dated back to 14th Century France; more specifically the Hundred Years’ War of 1337-1453. The divine taste of cheese won the men over, and the shape of the heart, said to have reminded them of angel wings which brought them the hope they craved during that desperate time.

This cheese looks scrummy, I wouldn't say no!
Alfie came home with a valentines card from a girl in his class that likes him, but he told me he does not like her he likes somebody else, how complicated and they are only 7 years old, 8 in a couple of weeks time.
At last Alfie got one i'm still waiting?? No card, but having my tea cooked for me Chicken Thai Green Curry yuummmmmmmmm very nice.
Valentines over for another year i hope you all out there had a nice day! x

What a wet and dull Sunday for Alfie's football!
Its a very early kick off and it is away so we are up and away at 8.45 as they are playing in Great Missenden at 9.30 who's idea was that?
What a game of football the boys did so well considering it was cold, wet and very muddy under foot. The first game was 0-0, the second game ended Chinnor losing 3-2 which was a great shame as they played good football as a team. Alfie scored 2 goals again which he was pleased about, but the third goal for the other team was helped by the muddy goal mouth, such a shame boys!
The only good thing about football being early is that we are back home by 11.00am so we have the rest of the day. Alfie was tried and wanted to watch football on TV and Polly wanted to go to the cinema. So i took Polly to see 'Tangled' at Wycombe Cineworld and Phil stayed at home with Alfie and watched TV and played with his lego.

'Tangled' was really good both Polly and I enjoyed it.
A comedy adventure tale of Rapunzel and the mischievous Flynn Rider. The magically long-haired Rapunzel has spent her entire life in a tower, but now that a runaway thief has stumbled upon her, she is about to escape.

This aftermoon was good until we can home from Wycombe then all hell broke out as Polly wanted to play with Alfie's lego and Alfie did not want her to play, what fun we then had for the rest of the evening, bed early for them and me i think!
Do all brother's and sister's fight and arguing? But they can play together nicely, why not always, then life would be so much happier for us all!
Another weekend over and i am looking forward to my big bunch of red roses, new pair of shoes, chocolates, a nice meal out and large card for valentines day!!!!!!! The list could be endless.
12th February 2011
Saturday morning again and the sun is shining and the birds were singing at 6.30am this morning when Polly decided to get up and go down stairs and watch the TV. We thought it was Alfie as this is what he normally does, but we were wrong, but before long Alfie was up also and had joined polly down stairs with his quilt to keep them both warm!
Then i heard them in the kitchen getting their breakfast so i thought i better go down and see what they where up to! Alfie had a satsuma, a couple yogurts, a jam wrap and Polly had a bowl of grapes and a yogurt. That was not to bad but it is now time for the drinks, Polly made a mikshake which she did very carefully and Alfie had a large glass of orange juice, WELL DONE what very independent children we have! Where's ours kids, how nice would that be breakfast in bed by the children but i think we have a few more years before that will happen.
Polly was up early this morning as she was excited because she was having her friends Charlotte and Grace come over to play after Stage Coach.
Charlotte, Grace and Polly had a great afternoon dancing to JLS, watched Shrek The Final Chapter and they ate me out of house and home, i think i will have to go shopping again! Only joking! They all had a great afternoon including Alfie as Phil took him to play football on the MUGA.
Phil treated us to a Chinese from the new one that has just opening in Chinnor, not bad but i think we will stick with Top Wok in Risborough as the kids like there dishes best and the portions are bigger and are better value and also you get some bottles of beer or wine if you spend over £24, sorry Chinnor Chinese!
A lovely sky at the end of a lovely sunny day, i just wish i was on that plane to somewhere sunny and hot as the weather tomorrow doesn't look good!

Friday at last!
Alfie had a class assembly this morning on Henry VIII, he was the executor. The whole class did really well, and Alfie spoke out loud and clear, well done Alfie!
After the assembly i'm of to do the shopping as i have not been organised this week so i have not done it online. Popped into see my brother on the way to Tesco's as he lives in Longwich which is on the way.
Tesco's was a nightmere it was so busy but i guess i did go at the wrong time, there was people everwhere and i could not think what i needed, i must get back into the habit of doing online each week its so much easier!
Had a back and forth afternoon, picked polly up from school, then picked alfie up from school after football, then off to dance for polly, but thanks to Amanda for picking her up also.
Had a lovely bunch of flowers brought for me, thanks Phil they are really nice, are these instead of red roses on Monday?
Went over to Doddy's flat for dinner tonight which was really nice, it made me feel so much better after a long week! She cooked me chicken stuffed with cheese and chriozo (sorry can not spell) wrapped in bacon with slimming world chips and salad it was yummy thanks so much doddy you are a true friend xx
